Katerina Sarantidou holds a degree in Physical Education and Sport Science (TEFAA) with postgraduate studies in the inclusion of children with disabilities in Physical Education. She has worked as a youth worker and coordinator of European Voluntary Service programmes, in the protection of children with disabilities and in inclusion programmes in the mental health sector. She has also worked in designing inclusive educational programmes in the arts and culture and in coordinating inclusive theatre productions. She is an integral member of Tandem, an organisation that promotes the inclusion and dignified living of children and young people with disabilities in institutional settings, and has volunteered in this field both in Greece and abroad. Since 2010, she has worked as a non-formal educator, training children, educators, and young people on various topics such as gender-based violence, school bullying, the refugee crisis, hate speech, inclusion and disability, life skills, social entrepreneurship, human rights, commons, volunteering, sustainable development goals, and more.
