An Accessibility Statement is a public information page that communicates an organisation’s internal accessibility policies, accessibility objectives, and the efforts undertaken to ensure equal access for people with disabilities. It demonstrates a digital product’s commitment to compliance with anti-discrimination legislation and internationally recognised accessibility standards.

This statement applies to the content published under the domain: https://include.org.gr/.

Compliance Level:

Partial compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA.

Date of Assessment:

07/2026

Accessibility Assessment Conducted By:

theUXProdigy

Scope of Evaluation:

All pages within the domain https://include.org.gr/ were assessed.

Evaluation Methodology:

  • Use of specialised automated accessibility testing tools to identify common accessibility issues.
  • Manual reviews conducted by digital accessibility specialists to assess elements that cannot be reliably verified through automated testing alone.
  • Keyboard-only navigation testing to ensure the website remains fully functional without the use of a mouse.
  • Compatibility testing with assistive technologies, including screen readers, as well as evaluation of content behaviour at different zoom levels and while using common accessibility features.

Description:

The accessibility study focused on improving and enhancing the quality of the Include website, with particular emphasis on digital accessibility and user experience. The primary objective was to achieve the highest possible level of compliance for the content available at https://include.org.gr/ with internationally recognised digital accessibility standards, specifically the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2.

Key Phases of the Accessibility Study:

  1. Accessibility Audit conducted by digital accessibility specialists.
  2. Accessibility Remediation addressing the issues identified during the initial audit.
  3. Second Accessibility Audit conducted by digital accessibility specialists.
  4. Accessibility Remediation addressing the issues identified during the second audit.

Total issues identified:

Sixteen (16)

Issue Severity:

  • Nine (9) Critical Issues: Issues that prevent users from accessing content or functionality.
  • Three (3) Moderate Issues: Issues affecting usability and the overall user experience during navigation.
  • Four (4) Minor Issues: Issues related to accessibility best practices that have minimal impact on user navigation.

Known Accessibility Limitations:

Although significant improvements have been made, some accessibility limitations remain:

  • Users cannot pause the automatic rotation (autoplay) of the carousel.
  • The main navigation menu contains duplicate links.
  • The carousel does not provide simple navigation controls (such as Previous/Next buttons or slide indicators).

Supported Technologies:

  • Screen readers (NVDA, Narrator, TalkBack).
  • Keyboard-only navigation.
  • Responsive display on mobile devices.
  • Zoom up to 200%.
  • Touch gestures.

Summary:

During the accessibility audits, several issues were identified that prevented parts of the website from being fully accessible. Following the implementation of remediation measures, the website now demonstrates a significantly improved level of accessibility and substantially conforms to the requirements of WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Continuous efforts are being made to further improve the remaining areas that require remediation.

Validity:

This Accessibility Statement applies to the domain https://include.org.gr/ and reflects the version of the website that existed at the time the assessment was completed (July 2026). This statement is valid from July 2026 until the next major release of the website. Should significant changes or a redesign of the website’s pages or content take place, a new accessibility assessment should be conducted.
