Fotini completed her studies at the University of Western Attica, in the Department of Physiotherapy, with further training in Project Management. She currently works as a programmer at a digital technology company. An openly lesbian woman since adolescence, she grew up in the small community of Nafplio and began her activism in the LGBTQI+ community in 2011 with Athens Pride. From 2012 to 2023, she served as the Volunteer Coordinator for the festival, which attracts over 200,000 people. In addition to her involvement in the festival’s organisation, she became a member of the Athens Pride Non-Profit Organisation and was involved in its administration. She was responsible for the smooth execution of the festival and the management of human resources related to recruitment, training, and assignment of duties.
