“But we're not racist”: How we unintentionally create non-inclusive environments for people from different cultural backgrounds

Workplace inequalities do not only stem from individual bias—they often reflect institutional and structural practices that exclude certain racial and ethnic groups. Differences in race or ethnicity can lead to discrimination, both in recruitment processes and in career progression within an organisation. In this workshop, we will bring to light the hidden barriers and systemic or legal practices that contribute to racial inequalities at work. Together, we will explore our own blind spots and learn how to foster a genuinely welcoming environment for people of all racial and cultural backgrounds—ensuring equal opportunities for everyone.
