The FPI Fair Pay Innovation Lab is an independent non-profit organization based in Berlin, Germany, dedicated to advancing Fair Pay worldwide. FPI developed the Universal Fair Pay Check®, an internationally recognized certification designed to support organizations in identifying and addressing unjustified pay gaps.

The Universal Fair Pay Check® is registered with EUIPO (European Union Intellectual Property Office) and operates under defined standards of neutrality, verification, monitoring and transparency. The certification is designed for organizations of all sizes, sectors and locations.

Certification applications are assessed by an independent Screening Board, which evaluates pay outcomes as well as the methodologies, governance structures and transparency measures supporting Fair Pay within the organization
